Yes! It's true. Austrailians came to America! And I had the wonderful opportunity to meet them and converse with them (they probably got annoyed with me for how many questions I had for them). Well I was just so excited because I love learning about new people, and I just wanted to know what things were like there.
In the picture above, those were only some of the GREAT people I met. (From left to right: Ally, Ryan, Conner, and I) This was also the farewell to them. They were headed to California for a little Disneyland, and Universal Studios. From Facebook, they seemed to love it there! I'll include more pictures of this weekend down below.
This was the farewell party for the hosts, and Austrailians. I know it sounds silly, but I had the time of my life there. We made smores, and played Just Dance 2. Actually one of my friends videoed Ally and I dancing to one of the songs. Quite funny if you ask me! When it came to an ending, I was actually really sad to say goodbye. But at least we still have Facebook right?!
Over the course of the weekend, I surprisingly learned so much from them. They taught me to not care what people think of you, and to do what makes you happy. It has been such a blessing getting to know these kids. Love you all, and wish you the best! & A safe 15 hour flight home!
